Around 150 runners, the majority of whom attend Westminster, participated in the 7th annual Odyssey Quest Run on Saturday, October 23, 2021. The race, hosted here at our school, raised $60,000 for Odyssey, “an academic enrichment program for public school students who attend under-resourced Atlanta public schools,” according to Jennifer Kellet, Director of Giving. Odyssey Director Jeff Cohen states that Odyessy’s mission is “to guide these highly motivated students in their quest for knowledge on their path to college.”

Students who competed in the race enjoyed the experience. “It was a little cold, but I completely forgot about it as soon as we started running,” says 7th grader Ryan Liu. “I like to help non-profit organizations, and I knew this was for a good cause.” 8th grader Harris Healey agrees that “it was a fun and hilly course all around Westminster and even though it was kinda early and cold it was for a good cause and an overall fun experience.”
